Founded in 1973, Karndean Designflooring are established for supplying a wide range of wood and stone luxury vinyl floor designs for residential and commercial environments.

Based at its head office and state of the art showroom in Evesham, Karndean is the UK’s market leader in LVT with more than 300 unique designs including its latest LooseLay Longboard collection. 

With their excellent customer service in mind, Karndean continues to invest in their operations with the latest technology and infrastructure. For their warehouse, Karndean were looking to upgrade their existing hardware estate to futureproof their operation and processes. The hardware upgrade will see the flooring specialist integrate TouchStar’s latest in house manufactured handheld terminal, the TS8000.

Incorporating the latest near far imaging technology, Karndean will benefit from reduced misreads of both damaged and corrupt barcodes as well as enhanced reading of shrink wrapped products. With proven integration into its impressive warehouse management system from Chess Logistics Technology, the TS8000 will also provide high speed data capture for increased productivity and efficiencies as well as a futureproof solution that is scalable to support future requirements such as the reading of 2D barcodes.

With a high level of expertise within the logistics sector, TouchStar have over 30 years real world experience in the integration, installation and support of data capture systems into leading warehouse and distribution operations. The system will be fully supported in the UK by a comprehensive support and maintenance package ensuring reduced downtime and a seamless operation.
