Global supply chain solutions provider NNR select TouchStar's RF system to support new warehouse operation.

At NNR, they aspire to provide customers with innovative products and services that support future growth.  As part of the company’s ongoing expansion, NNR were looking to implement a new warehouse management system that would support the optimised running of their new Northampton based operation. The objective of the implementation was not only to support efficient and accurate warehouse processes, but to provide a system that was scalable in line with the future growth of the company. 

The new IT system will integrate TouchStar’s latest generation RF handheld with Empirica, the state of the art warehouse management system from Chess Logistics Technology. One of the main benefits of the new system implementation will be realised from the real time barcode scanning. Rugged and reliable, the system integrates TouchStar’s in house manufactured TS8000 handhelds. Using the latest 802.11 standards, the new system implementation will equip NNR with secure high performance wireless coverage for high speed, accurate data capture.

With a high level of expertise within the logistics sector, TouchStar have over 30 years real world experience in the integration, installation and support of data capture systems into leading warehouse and distribution operations. The system will be fully supported in the UK by a comprehensive support and maintenance package ensuring reduced downtime and a seamless operation.
