UK-based business software vendor, TouchStar Technologies, is pleased to announce that Phoenix Garden Building Ltd (PGB) is to implement their PODSTAR electronic proof of delivery system. PGB, leading designers and manufacturers of quality garden buildings, made the decision to implement the solution as part of a drive towards a paperless, real time and efficient operation.

PGB’s range of premium pressure treated Sheds, Workshops, Garages and Summerhouses are all built to the highest of specifications. From design, to build and implementation, all of PGB’s garden buildings are made to order, allowing them to offer a solid and robust product that can be tailored to individual requirements.

PGB pride themselves on delivering a high quality product and service. The decision to roll out TouchStar’s PODStar solution enables PGB to enhance its current delivery process and to improve the customer experience.

The implementation of PODStar solution will provide PGB with a real time workforce management system. Supporting efficient and accurate management of business processes and resource, the PODStar solution is set to seamlessly integrate with PGB’s current IT systems to guarantee a truly paperless environment.

One of the main benefits of the new system will be the ability for PGB to provide an enhanced service to their customers. Once fully implemented, drivers will be able to perform their daily vehicle checks, receive job lists and confirm proof of delivery all electronically using the latest smartphones. Driver location and jobs will be tracked in real time so PGB will be able to provide their customers with visibility of both their deliveries and installations.

Mark Lawrence, Director at PGB comments, “The ability to manage our operations more efficiently will be a huge bonus. The creation of a paperless environment will allow us to streamline the planning process and improve the audit trail of our delivery paperwork. The invoice integration with sage will complement this with instant and accurate invoicing, reducing administrative costs and ultimately benefiting our business with increased cash flow”.
