This facility allows for;

• Intelligently managed connectivity, ensuring no data loss
  
  
• Instant notification of workload to the driver, including updates
  
  
• Automated SMS to the customer to indicate impending delivery
  
  
• Immediate receipt of proof-of-delivery data, allowing instant invoice generation at the back office and a consequent improvement in cash flow.

Integrated Voice Communications

A sophisticated integrated mobile phone facility is an optional component within the TouchStar Solution.
This facility allows for;

• Elimination of the requirement for a separate mobile phone in the cab. Typically, significant savings are accrued
• Outgoing call numbers can be restricted via the use of a ‘white list’ and a ‘black list’
• Safety – voice communication can be disabled whilst the vehicle is in motion
• Safety – simple to access emergency call button can be triggered by a driver in difficulty
• Designated customers can receive a ‘call ahead’ message.
